Application

The application for the 2027-2028 GNFA Livestock Ambassadors will open later this year.

Application Requirements:
  • Applicants can be any student enrolled in 10th through 12th grade.
  • Applicants are required to be in good standing with school academics, as well as their 4-H/FFA Chapter.
  • Applicants must currently be showing or have shown one of the following species of livestock here at the Georgia National Fairgrounds: Beef Cattle, Dairy Cattle, Goats, Lambs, Swine, and/or Horses.

About

The Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter established the Junior Livestock Ambassadors to improve, assist, and promote the Junior Livestock and Equine Industry by providing a positive atmosphere through youth leadership. The ambassadors will inform the public about the importance of youth agricultural involvement and highlight the accomplishments of Georgia Junior Livestock Exhibitors.

Mission Statement

Each year during leadership training, the ambassadors develop a mission statement that defines their collective purposes and goals.

Their Mission:
Across the state, the Georgia Youth Livestock Ambassador team strives to:
- Promote and expand interest in youth livestock.
- Provide new and equal opportunities for livestock exhibitors.
- Ignite a passion for the livestock and agriculture industries.
