Corn Dog Eating Competition

The Georgia National Fair is proud to present our first-ever Corn Dog Eating Competition, sizzling onto the scene Sunday, October 5, 12 PM at the Tower Stage! Sponsored by the flavor fanatics at Freund Family Foods, this event promises to be a batter battle for the ages. Whether you're a seasoned snacker or just mustard up the courage, it's time to stick it out and cheer on the contestants as they race against the clock.
Contestants will chow down on 5 foot-long corn dogs as fast as they can to be crowned the Corn Dog Eating Champion!

All contestants will receive the following:
-Fair admission for Sunday October 5
-If contestant is age 17 and under, they will receive 1 (one) additional ticket for a parent or guardian

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

This contest will be split up into qualifying rounds
- The fastest eater from each qualifying round will move on to the Winner's Round.
- The Winners Round will consist of the contestants eating 3 mini funnel cakes.
Each contestant must be pre-registered, complete the online waiver, and ready to participate
Registration is only in advance. See form below
In order to participate you must be at the Tower Stage 30 minutes before the time of the contest and be checked in.
Contests must be 13+ years old to participate (parents or guardian must sign a waiver for 13-17 year olds).
Contestants will be given a 3-minute window to eat the designated food.
Contestants must eat the food using only their hands. No utensils allowed.
Contestants are allowed to drink water that is provided.
Contestants must eat the entire corn dog.
A clear set of judges will determine who ate the most corn dogs and or mini funnel cakes in the allotted time.
The winner of the qualifying rounds and dessert round is the contestant who eats the most designated food in the time allotted.

I, the undersigned participant in the Corn Dog Eating Contest (“Contest”), agree to abide by all Contest rules, to compete in a safe and reasonable manner, and to accept all judge’s rulings.

I understand the health and associated risks inherent in eating contests and in the consumption of large quantities of food and calories over both short and extended periods of time.

I agree to cooperate and speak with media and interviewers authorized by the Contest organizers regarding the Contest and agree to grant and release all rights on my name, likeness, image, performance and interviews before, during or after the Contest for use by the Contest organizers, their sponsors and licensees, in any and all media in perpetuity and for any and all purposes whatsoever. I also hereby waive, on behalf of myself, successors, heirs and assigns and anyone else

claiming under me or on my behalf, all ownership or other property rights to my performance in the Contest and all related activities in perpetuity in all media whatsoever.

I expressly understand that entry and participation in the Contest and all related events and activities, including, without limitation, travel to the Contest and time spent in and around the area of the Contest, interviews with and possibly negative portrayals by the media, and my performance in the Contest, shall be at my own risk and assume sole and complete responsibility and liability for all such risks.

I, on behalf of myself, my successors, heirs and assigns and anyone else claiming under me, hereby completely, irrevocably and unconditionally release and discharge all sponsors and the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, suits, discrimination

or other charges, demands, debts, liens, damages, costs, attorneys’ fees, prejudgment or other interest, grievances, injuries, actions or rights of action of any nature whatsoever now or in the future arising in any way out of or in connection with the Contest.
