The toughest sport on wool is back! Kids ages 4-8 and weighing less than 65 lbs. are invited to try to ride the sheep for a full 6 seconds! Kids and adults of all ages are invited to test their roping skills!

Event Rules:
Each child must be between 4 and 8 years old and less than 65 lbs. The ride will last for 6 seconds, if the rider completes the 6 second ride they will receive a score from the judges. The highest score from the event will win. If no rider in the event completes a full 6 second ride, whoever rode the longest will win the event. Helmets and vests will be provided by the WRA and must be worn. No ropes or spurs can be used when riding. Long pants and closed toed shoes are highly recommended. The minimum age to ride is 4 years old, however WRA (Wool Riders Association) reserves the right to “lift off” the rider if they see fit.

Event registration will begin one hour before each performance at the WRA (Wool Riders Association) tent located at the Covered Horse Arena.

Schedule:
October 3: 5:30 PM, 7:30 PM
October 4-13: 3:30 PM, 5:30 PM, 7:30 PM
*Events also begin 1:30 PM October 5-6 and 12-13
