Flint River Fresh is a non-profit organization that helps people grow vegetables and fruit from garden plots and orchards located in backyards, schoolyards, vacant lots and community sites. Join us at the Starbuck's Learning Farm to learn about raised bed gardening, community food plots, drip irrigation systems, community orchards, Fall planting and more! This year, we'll walk you through the community garden season virtually while showcasing some of our favorite "Field to Fork" recipes on the weekend.

Educational Shows:

All Day Garden Virtual Walking Tour through the Learning Farm. Walk through the urban farm and gain knowledge about the basics of Community Farming by scanning QR Codes on signage throughout the Learning Farm. Topics to explore virtually: How to grow a Successful Fall Garden; Raised Bed Gardening, How to control weeds in your Garden, Fruit Tree Care & Maintenance, and Many More.
Cooking Demonstration with Fresh Seasonal Garden Veggies on Sundays & Saturdays: 12PM & 3PM: Learn how to prepare the beautiful, fresh produce that is growing in your late summer/fall garden. Come experience what FRESH tastes like. We'll share creative and healthy veggie recipes featuring veggies grown on-site at the Starbucks Learning Farm. 10/8 - Sweet Corn, 10/9 - Tomatoes & Peppers, 10/15 - Yellow Squash, Cucumbers, 10/16 - Greens (Collards, Kale, Spinach, Lettuce, Asian Greens)
Community Farm Stand - Open daily. Get a sneak peek at seasonal Georgia Grown fruits and veggies available at the Community Farm Stand located at The Starbucks Learning Farm
