Georgia National Fair and Perry Kiwanis Club Farm/City Days Parade 10:00 a.m. Perry Parade participants march from downtown Perry to West Gate of the Fairgrounds.

Toys for Tots Day
Bring a new toy Sunday, October 5, 2008, only, and the United States Marines will give you a coupon good for $2.00 off adult gate admission only. One coupon per person. Not good with any other offer.

Georgia National Schoolhouse

The Georgia National Schoolhouse is the state's largest classroom! The 19th anniversary, state-sponsored Georgia National Fair, October 2-12, 2008, invites students to take  an Field Trip of the Fair. We encourage students to tour livestock and horse shows and educational exhibits. The award-winning Stories of Agriculture features 19 educational displays on various agricultural commodities/livestock around the Fairgrounds. Admission to the Georgia National Schoolhouse is free for students, teachers, and bus drivers, pre-registration only. October 6-10 only in the morning. Some chaperones may be subject to a $7 admission charge.  Field Trips must be registered in advance. A packet of information will be mailed after a class has signed up. Volunteers will on hand at the West Gate.  Field Trips are self-guided. School lunches may be eaten in the West Gate Parking lot.

There is no limit on the number of students attending the Fair on a Field Trip from any one school. Please call 478/988-6483 or 800/987-3247 (Georgia only) or e-mail thawk@gnfa.com to schedule an Field Trip. THIS YEAR ALL BUSES WILL NEED TO ENTER WEST GATE FOR FIELD TRIPS.
