The Georgia National Schoolhouse is the state's largest classroom! The 19th anniversary, state-sponsored Georgia National Fair, October 2-12, 2007, invites students to take an Educational Tour of the Fair. We encourage students to tour livestock and horse shows and educational exhibits. The award-winning Stories of Agriculture features 19 educational displays on various agricultural commodities/livestock around the Fairgrounds. Admission to the Georgia National Fair is free for students, teachers, and bus drivers, October 6-10 only in the morning. Some chaperones may be subject to a $7 admission charge. Educational Tours must be registered in advance. A packet of information will be mailed after a class has signed up. Volunteers will on hand at the North Gate. Educational Tours are self-guided. School lunches may be eaten in the North Gate Parking lot.
